Trombone
The Trombone is one of the most unique instruments because of it’s slide and ability to resemble the human voice, and is a vital member of the low brass section.
About the Trombone:
The Role: The foundation. The Trombone, Euphonium, and Tuba provide the deep, rich floor that the rest of the band sits on. Without them, the band has no "muscle."
Special Qualities: The Trombone is the only instrument that uses a slide to change notes, allowing for unique "sliding" sounds.
Ideal for: Students who like being the "anchor" of the team. If you like deep sounds and want to be a highly valued member of the band (everyone always needs more low brass!), this is your home.
