Scheduling your private music lessons is simple!

There is nothing quite like the joy of watching a student's progress. And there's no faster learning than with 1-on-1 / small group. For my younger students, I get a front-row seat to them crushing goals they once thought were impossible. For my adult learners, I see them discover new passions that breathe fresh life and creativity into their daily routine. Weather you’ve been playing for a few months, years, or never before - I can help you take your musicianship to the next step!

Flexible, personal, online or in-person, private or small group, any instrument of your choice.

I've taught 7 year olds, I've taught 80 year olds - it doesn't matter. Music is a lifeline, a challenge, and a whole lot of fun, and I love helping people on their personal music journeys. Reach out and let’s find what’s best for you!

Meet Sorren

Sorren chose to play the trumpet, and is now entering into 5th grade as we wrap up our 2nd full year of lessons together. It has been so inspiring for me to see what this young man has accomplished and the strides he and I have taken together. I get the privilege of hanging out with and seeing the growth of such a passionate and wonderful child, and watching little snippets of him grow up into a real musician. In our two short years together of weekly lessons, Sorren has soared twice as fast as most in-school musicians. He and I played the National Anthem at a Twins game together last summer, and he is now one of the youngest members of the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies.

  • "I can accomplish so much more, rather than just staying where I am and playing the same old song's I've already done

  • "The most valuable lesson Caleb taught me is to not settle for "good enough", but to push myself to improve to as close to perfect as my human-self can get, and strive for constant improvement."

    — Founding Student

  • "He is extremely helpful, especially when I don't know what the next step is. We get into so much more than just playing, but discovering the ins and outs of music - theory, rules, norms, which in turn all help me play.

    — Founding Student

  • "I learned profficiency is so much more than just playing the right notes and rhyhtms - I can now focus on the intentionality and making 'good music', playing in tune, in tone, and with dynamic phrasing."

    — Founding Student

  • "The transition from 'just making noise' to recognizable music happened in just 3 to 4 sessions. He was already showing off his progress to family, proving how quickly the right roadmap eliminates beginner frustration."

    — Parent of Founding Member

  • "Whenever frustration hit, Caleb pivoted the approach immediately—using entertaining theory and memorable fundamentals to keep the momentum going. He is tuned into [the student's] unique needs, ensuring I stay motivated and engaged."

  • A video or book would not have worked—[student] would have quit. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach; it’s a system tuned to the student's interests and mood. Having a coach who enthusiastically invests in the individual is the difference between quitting and succeeding."

  • "Every detail was thoughtfully executed. We're thrilled with the outcome."

    —Former Customer

  • "He taught me tips and tricks I had never considered that made playing so much easier."

    — Founding Member

  • "When I'm having trouble, Caleb is there and knows exactly how to help me out. It's a lot more fun to make music with someone else rather than just by yourself."

    — Founding Student

  • "If we had never worked together, I may never have been able to sound like I want to, and know how to get there. Learning to "fail upwards. Practice makes progress, not perfect."

    - Founding Student

  • "I remember when we first started I couldn't play in tune and get the right notes. Now, no matter what I play, I am confident I know how to control it and make it sound good."
