Meet Your Instructor

Caleb Hubbard

Caleb Hubbard is a multi-instrumentalist, educator and composer from the Twin Cities. He holds a Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, and a Masters in Music Technology from Southern Utah University. He has spent the last three years teaching beginning Band, Orchestra, Guitar, Piano, and Choir students in St. Paul Public Schools. His first instrument was the saxophone, which he has been playing for over 15 years.

Our Purpose

In my teaching, I noticed a common trend. Students would be limited by their decisions and that impacted their ability to participate in music ensembles.

Often times, students are forced to chose between music class or another elective, and playing an instrument is different from anything students have ever done, and it can be scary.

Some students end up not be able to, or regret deciding not to join Band/Orchestra/Choir right away, and it can be nerve racking to try to jump in when everyone else already knows their instrument.

Some adults never got the chance to play an instrument, and for them it is a life-long dream that seems out of reach, or too hard to get started.

Well I’m here to fix that! I created Music Bootcamp as a way for you to dive in to your musical journey with no restrictions! I want to make this as seamless and easy for you as possible. Because once you cross that boundary and get started, I promise you will get hooked and your life will be forever changed!
