Serving you since 1939
Caleb Hubbard, LLC’s goal is to make it easy for as many people as possible to enter the magical world of music, and wants to make that entrance as frictionless as possible. That’s why we have partnered with Groth Music to offer a Four-month trial period on your own high quality student-level instrument. With a small initial investment of just $40+ (varies by instrument) you will get to try your own instrument for 121 days - no hidden fees, interest, and maintenance coverage is included. After the trial period, most students have a fair idea of weather or not they are interested in pursuing music further. These are the standard beginner models recommended for beginner students. They are top quality and provide the best chance for a beautiful, successful sound!
Then you have the choice to continue renting your instrument for $30+/month, or simply return it. This is a rent-to-own program, which means every payment you make go towards owning your instrument. If you keep playing, once your rental cost sums up to the total cost of the instrument, it becomes yours for life!
Optional Maintenance and Replacement Plan (highly recommended): $7.50/month in addition to your monthly payments. This plan covers any routine repairs to the instrument to keep it in good playing condition, as well as covering the cost of replacing the instrument in the unlikely event it is lost or stolen.

Enter the first day of camp as your instrument deliver date.
Once you enter the required information, the order will begin to process and Groth Music will let you know if they have any questions.
Your down payment would be charged right away to hold the instrument, but your 4-month trial starts the first day of camp when you receive your instrument.

WANT TO BUY YOUR OWN INSTRUMENT?
That’s great! But I warn you, there are lots of fakes and duds out there.
⚠️PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS⚠️ A Note on "ISOs" (Instrument Shaped Objects)
You may see very colorful or extremely cheap instruments (under $200-400) online. These are known as ISOs (Instrument Shaped Objects).
While they look like flutes, saxophones, trumpets, etc. and they do work for a short period of time, they are often made of materials that cannot be adjusted or repaired by local shops, and will not last you long enough to create real music.
To avoid frustration, I strongly recommend sticking to the professional brands listed provided so your focus stays on making music, not fighting a broken tool. If it seems too good to be true, it is! Make sure you have the best experience by getting an instrument that is mechanically sound.

Yes. We start with the price of the instrument plus the sales tax to get the total purchase price of the instrument. The money you pay gets deducted from the unpaid balance each month until you own the instrument or return it.
-
Call Groth Music, or email your representative, and they will arrange for a loaner instrument for you to pick up or to delvier to your child's school and bring their instrument to our store for repair. Either way, your Groth Music representative will then bring the repaired instrument back to your child's school, or they will notify you when can pick it up at the store.
-
Just give Groth a call at 952.884.4772 or email your representative, and let us know your child no longer needs the instrument. They will pick up the instrument at your child's school. Or you can return it to the storefront. Monthly payments will stop as soon as they have received the instrument in good condition and nothing further is due, as long as your account is in good standing.
-
Simply call Groth Music and let them know. They will apply up to 80% of what you have paid on the first instrument to the price of the second instrument. The instrument you are switching to must be of equal or greater value and must be for the same student that is listed on the contract. The switch can take place at any time that you are still making payments. Your teacher needs to approve your child changing instruments.

Groth Music offers only instruments approved by your music teacher, and at a discounted rate for accredited music educators. The prices you see online are drastically different for a reason - there is no guarantee with what you buy online. These instruments are often much lower quality, sound terrible, are impossible or very expensive to fix because they do not have standard parts, have immense shipping charges, are non-refundable, and simply do not last or hold up to he musical needs of the musician. Please ask questions with professionals, such as Caleb Hubbard or the representatives at Groth Music. We want the best for you and your musical journey.

Do lots of research, click on each instrument in our list to read about their characteristics, listen to songs and videos online and determine your favorite sound.
